How can Your Business Attract 1 new Customer today?

I sat down at my computer this morning at 5:55 am after reading an email from a friend of mine. He is an aspiring web designer looking for new clients.
I asked myself, "What can I do to help my friend Ty get a new client, today?"
He doesn’t have money for any marketing or advertising and needs at least 1 new client, preferably today?
Here is what I wrote to him and what you can do today to get a new client into your business.
Step 1. Go to the Google Keyword analyzer- and type in a phrase that a customer would typically type in to find your services.
Something like ‘Cochrane Web Designer’.
The goal is to find a keyword that generates less than 300k search results in Google. You’ll see how many results there are for a keyword phrase right under the google search bar.
Step 2. Advance step- Register a domain that is as close to the keyword as you can that no one is using.
Cochrane web designer .com or .ca or .org
Step 3. Create a free report that explains the 5 FAQ’s and 5 SAQ’s for web design.
Most people don’t know what they don’t know about your business. Meaning, they could (if they didn’t have this information) get screwed over by a designer if they didn’t know what questions to ask before hiring someone. This implicitly tells your audience that you expect these questions and therefore will not take advantage of them.
Step 4. Create a video or article with the EXACT keyword phrase that people are typing into Google to find you.
Submit your video to all the video sites. Why video? You can get a page 1 ranking in less than a day on Google. We can chat about why that happens later. Just know that it works and is unbelievable!
Now you have what I call you traffic magnet video.
The Purpose of the video is to do a few important things.
1. Add value
2. Get ranked in search engines
3. And visit your website
The video is a short- 30-60 second video. You deliver one thing of high value and then tell them for more free videos, come to my website and I’ll give them to you.
Step 5. Once a prospect goes to your website, they see another video.
I call it your "Optin Video". It is a longer video, 3-7 minutes that delivers excellent information.
Main Goal: To provide what is termed by Frank Kern (the expert online marketer), “Results in Advance” for your prospect. Give them something tangible and concrete that they can do now to get results? Think of something that the person can take away of high value, they didn’t know before.
At the end of the video, you offer a free report or website consultation and in exchange for their email. You give away the "thing" you created in step 3 and give it away to your prospects in return for their email. I like to combine a video and pdf report.
You can outsource the majority of the "work" to get the free report or video done and in about 45 min of your time. After, you will have a highly valuable marketing resource you can leverage to acquire 1-3 customers per week (dependent on the number of searches)
Step 6. Get your phone to ring and new client.
Total time: probably 2-4 hours the first time you do it. Once you get good at it, shouldn’t take more than an hour.
You have just positioned yourself as the expert in Cochrane. I can guarantee (because I looked for you) that there was no one else in your market that I could find doing this.
